This experience has been of one the best and completely changed me in a positive way (Student Aged 17 years)
Everyone experiences low mood, feeling worried or anxious at times, but if you let these feelings build up or become stressed out it can have a serious impact on your physical and mental health. For Students experiencing problems in your day to day living, we can help you with emotional and psychological difficulties from anxiety, low mood, self-esteem and low confidence issues to peer/family relationship difficulties, exam stress, bereavement and much more.
A safe, confidential space is created in the college for students to talk about any issues or difficulties they are experiencing and allow them to access support for these. A robust referral system is put in place for students to access this service which is available onsite. Students can self-refer into our service, referrals can come direct from tutors, the safeguarding team or any other staff member based in the college. We have therapists placed within the colleges and sixth forms below, however, if you don’t want to be seen within your college environment or it isn’t listed below, you can still receive a service through our NHS Services.
For a confidential appointment please telephone Alliance Psychological Services on Freephone 0800 230 0688. Alternatively you can email on firstname.lastname@example.org or speak to your named therapist based within your college.
