This training explains what work-related stress is, how to recognise signs in ourselves and others and how to start safer workplace conversations, with a reminder to seek trusted support if content feels difficult. It encourages regular self check-ins and understanding an individual “stress signature” supported by checklists and coping strategy guides. The training frames stress as an imbalance between demands and resources, linking rising stress to workload compression, low control, constant change, blurred hybrid boundaries, increased availability and emotional labour in people-facing roles. It highlights presenteeism costs and why people don’t act on stress, advocating early prevention, workload conversations, normalised limits, regular check-ins and a shared organisational responsibility.

- Simple, practical ways to respond without needing to fix
