Terms and Conditions

1. General

1.1 These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Suicide Awareness Seminar (“Seminar”) hosted by Alliance Plus (on behalf of Alliance Psychological Services ltd) via Teams. By registering for and attending the Seminar, you agree to these Terms.

2. Registration and Payment

2.1 The fee for the Seminar is £30 plus VAT. Payment must be made in full at the time of registration.

2.2 Upon successful registration and payment, you will receive a confirmation email containing details on how to access the Seminar.

3. No Refund Policy

3.1 All fees are non-refundable. By registering for the Seminar, you acknowledge and agree that there are no refunds available under any circumstances, including but not limited to inability to attend the Seminar for any reason.

4. Access to the Seminar

4.1 Access to the Seminar is granted solely to the registered individual. Sharing of access credentials is strictly prohibited.

4.2 The Seminar will be conducted live on Teams at the scheduled time. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary technology and internet access to attend.

5. No Recording or Replay

5.1 The Seminar will be delivered live, and no recordings will be provided. There will be no opportunity to replay the Seminar at a later date.

5.2 You are strictly prohibited from recording, copying, or redistributing any part of the Seminar.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

6.1 By registering for the Seminar, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data for the purposes of administering your participation in the Seminar.

6.2 Your data will be handled in accordance with our [Privacy Policy].

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 All materials presented during the Seminar, including but not limited to slides, handouts, and any other content, are the intellectual property of the Organiser or the respective presenters.

7.2 You may not reproduce, distribute, or use these materials for any commercial or non-commercial purposes without prior written consent from the Organiser.

8. Liability

8.1 The Organiser is not responsible for any technical issues, including but not limited to internet connectivity problems, that may prevent you from attending the Seminar.

8.2 The Organiser makes no guarantees as to the accuracy or completeness of the information presented during the Seminar. The content is intended for informational purposes only and should not be construed as professional advice.

9. Code of Conduct

9.1 Participants are expected to behave respectfully and professionally during the Seminar. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the Seminar without a refund.

10. Changes and Cancellations

10.1 The Organiser reserves the right to change the date, time, content, and/or speakers of the Seminar. In the event of such changes, participants will be notified as soon as possible.

10.2 In the unlikely event that the Seminar is cancelled by the Organiser, a full refund will be issued to all registered participants.

11. Governing Law

11.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
