We are seeking a Children & Young People's Counsellor to join our inclusive and compassionate team. This is an excellent opportunity to provide early intervention and structured therapeutic support to children, young people, and families experiencing mild to moderate emotional or mental health challenges.
You will work within a supportive, trauma-informed environment where the emphasis is on collaborative delivery of short-term, outcomes-based interventions, as well as contributing to consultation and partnership work in educational and community settings.
This role is ideal for a practitioner who enjoys working relationally and is looking to further develop their therapeutic skills within a structured and nurturing service. You will work at locations across the Tees Valley.

Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist

We are inviting a dedicated and compassionate Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist to join our growing team. This role is a meaningful opportunity to work within a supportive, trauma-informed environment, providing specialist therapeutic care to children and adolescents who may have experienced adversity, including trauma, attachment disruptions, and neurological differences.
Main duties of the job
The role will involve offering consultation, clinical assessment and Psychotherapy to children, young people and their families (CYPF) who have experienced complex trauma. To work with parents and carers and professionals to develop their understanding of developmental and attachment-based trauma, improving outcomes and support for affected children.
You will take a lead role in delivering complex, tailored interventions for children and young people presenting moderate to complex psychological needs. You will also contribute to wider workforce development through consultation, training, and, where qualified, clinical supervision, helping embed trauma-informed practice across systems.
You will work at locations across the Tees Valley.
