Mindfulness for Kits© Primary School Age- Years 3 & 4

Our unique and innovative Mindfulness for Kits© presents a series of 5 short stories and associated audio recordings which introduce children, in Years 3 and 4 in a fun way to the very rewarding skills of mindfulness. The stories involve a group of young squirrels or kits who face a lot of problems such as anger issues, nervousness and short attention spans. By practising with the guidance of an ancient but wise old squirrel called Old Ma, children, in company with the young kits, may learn to pause and ground themselves in the present moment and in time, learn to support themselves when feeling stressed or worried.

Mindfulness for Kits is teacher-led and teaching and support staff are encouraged to embody mindfulness practices through training. Mindfulness for Kits© can be delivered following 1 days training by Alliance Mindfulness Practitioner.
