Self-Confidence Training

BUILDING RESILIENCE and SELF-CONFIDENCE

Duration:  2 hours plus self-directed workbook, meditations and practice

Course Overview:

This training will explore factors that increase or decrease resilience in the Workplace. We will consider the origins of low self-esteem and negative thinking, help participants to understand and recognise their worth, teach positive self-talk and use goal-setting to help overcome obstacles

Course Aims:

Participants will be able to identify common negative thinking styles and learn how to overcome them, explore barriers to self-care, create a personal motivational poster and leave with tools to set goals and challenge avoidance. By the end of the session they will understand how to self-soothe and gain faith in their ability to succeed.

 Objectives:

  • Define assertiveness and self-confidence
  • Understand different types of confidence and what drives them
  • Reflect on personal skills and characteristics to increase self-belief
  • Understand characteristics of resilient people
  • Recognise signs of burnout
  • Overcome negative thoughts using ‘poison parrot’
  • Identify obstacles to self-care
  • Identify current and ongoing self-care strategies
  • Begin a personal wellbeing plan
